You are in the right place. BM Teknik supplied machinery, tools and consumables to the metalworking industry across Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Cougartron began as BM Teknik's own range of weld-cleaning machines and later grew into a specialist company in its own right.
BM Teknik is no longer an active brand but the Cougartron team still helps customers with questions about machinery, spare parts and consumables supplied in the past.

How it happened
The old catalogues tell the story of a broad, ambitious metalworking supplier. Cutting discs sat beside CNC plasma tables. Grinding and deburring machines sat beside weld-cleaning systems. Then one product line started pulling the business in a new direction.
BM Teknik sold practical equipment for cutting, grinding, brushing, deburring, plasma cutting, pipe preparation, weld cleaning and workshop safety. The aim was simple: bring useful machinery and consumables to Scandinavian metalworkers.
Stainless weld cleaning was slow, messy and dependent on harsh processes. BM Teknik began developing its own machine instead of only reselling other manufacturers' equipment.
The first Cougartron weld cleaners appeared inside the BM Teknik range alongside TIG Brush and Inox Brush machines. The brand grew through real workshop use, better electronics and a sharper focus on the finished surface.
Demand for Cougartron changed the direction of the business. The wider BM Teknik range was stopped, while Cougartron became the full focus: weld cleaning, marking, passivation, laser cleaning and surface treatment.

Include any old BM Teknik code, dimensions, grit, material or machine model. Photos of the worn item and its packaging are especially useful.
Send several photos: the full machine, controls, connectors and data plate. We may be able to identify it even when the original paperwork has disappeared.
Cougartron no longer supplies every product previously sold by BM Teknik. We will not pretend otherwise. Where we cannot help directly, we will try to identify the equipment or the right route forward.

Cougartron today
Cougartron now develops and supplies weld cleaning, passivation, marking, laser cleaning and related surface-treatment equipment. The range is narrower than BM Teknik's was, but the technical knowledge behind the machines has gone much deeper.
